Is it legal for my neighbor to use profanity (including the 'F' word) which my family can hear in our home?

Yes, its legal. Freedom of Speech. It doesn't make it right though. And to the lady that talked about the law about using it in front of women and children, Iowa has a law where children can not fall asleep in a restaurant, laws that were written so long ago that nobody pays any attention to them.
