What are some good things to be working on with my 3 year old now to help with development?

He is very interested in learning letters & #s, he knows his shapes, (not colors b/c I believe he got colored blindness from my Dad:), He occasionally likes to play ball & attempt to ride his bike. What are some more things I can do at this age to help him?
