A question about peanut er...?

firstly, i don't usually eat much but i have been dieting recently and had a real craving for it. like really badly! does this mean anything? secondly, why is it so annoyingly bad with fat and calories, i mean it's not majorly bad it's just like... is it even that bad for you really?? and thirdly, what is best to have it with seeing as i'm gunna go munch on it :-P craving's calling me haha.
